-Amacio Ortega was born in León in 1936. When he was fourteen he got a job in clothes shop in la couña. In 1975, he open his first shop and called it Zara. Zara was diferent from other clothes sophs. Ortega did'nt buy the clothes from other places, his fahion desingers made them. He often changed the clothes in his shop, so the fashion were always new. Zara become very popular and Ortega soon had more than 400 shops around the world. Zara opened its first shop in the UK in 1998.
